MERCER ISLAND, WA (December 12th, 2002) – Highly regarded in the music industry, sampling wizard Dan Dean announced the release of his new "Dan Dean Solo Woodwinds/ Lite" CD-ROM in Gigasampler™ format. A mainstay in the Gigasampler™ format since its release, this new lite version of the Dan Dean Solo Brass is priced at $199 MSRP and features multi velocity Solo Brass instruments in various articulations.

This new lite version of the DDSB was conceived by both Dan Dean and Tom Hopkins, and programmed by Tom Hopkins.

Articulations such as Non Vibrato, Portato, and Staccato are included in each instrument. Vibrato is provided on the Trumpet.

It has always been DDP’s basic premise to produce digital instrument libraries of unsurpassed sonic quality, hence the new DDSB/Lite uses a reduced number of the same beautifully recorded, high-definition stereo .wav files as the original Gigasampler™ version.
