Dan has been working on his first CD entitled, 2-5-1 for the past few months. The album features Dan on bass playing duets with great keyboardists George Duke, Gil Goldstein, Larry Goldings and Kenny Werner.

The playing is inspired and spirited, the interplay is amazing and the recording makes you feel like you're sitting between the players. Recorded at Studio X, Avast and Fantasy Records in Berkeley, the CD is a fresh, contemporary take on some of the most loved jazz standards like "'S Wonderful", "One Note Samba", "All The Things You Are", "Stella by Starlight" and the original "It's On" by George Duke. With Larry Goldings on Hammond B-3 and Gil Goldstein on accordion, there are a lot of nice textures to choose from. Dan also engineered the project, mixing and mastering it.
